Welcome to the second and final part of Waifu's Spooky Space Station! This game was just released on Steam on February 25, 2021, and as soon as I saw it, I knew I needed to try it out! I'll be honest, I'm not all big on the whole Waifu craze. I don't consider myself in that fanbase nor do I have any obsession with it (although I have nothing against those who are). However, since this game was very similar to the style of Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion, I decided to check it out!

In this video, I play through the final 250 modules in the game. This was a fun game to play, maybe nowhere near as enjoyable as my first time playing Spooky's, but it was still neat to say the least. However, I did get very frustrated at times with those pesky locked doors again! Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but that one particular enemy who moves when you look away from it is a REAL pain to deal with. I almost got past her too, until I got that room with two out of three doors being locked. I was really hoping to make it past her, but oh well. She got the best of me.

I did find the enemy that spawned in Module 451 to be the most menacing in a sense. Those bright red eyes were pretty terrifying in the distance! And she does nearly 80% damage it seems like...WOWZERS! I'm surprised I even got past her the second time around, but that's only because I got super lucky and only ran into one locked door during her chase. I definitely found this game A LOT harder (at times) than the story mode of Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion, but that's only because of those dreaded locked doors!

Overall, if I had to rate this game in its release state, I would give it around a 7 out of 10. Not bad at all. A nice ode to Spooky's...but in space with Waifus! Whenever this game gets a major update, I will definitely come back to it. Maybe there could be some variation in chase theme songs...that would be nice addition! Oh, and being able to open doors backwards!

So, just to reiterate...here are the main things I hope can be added or fixed in a future update:
1. being able to go through doors with your back facing them
2. having stamina refill in each new room/module
3. have some added theme songs so that way each Waifu specimen can have her own theme
4. notes should NOT appear during a chase
Also...
5. I would love to see each Waifu get their own scripted introduction room/module. That way you will have encountered each one at least once during the game. I feel like I may have not seen one or two of them because of the fact the chases were all randomized. Maybe every 50 modules or so there could be an introduction module. (For example, Module 60, 110, 160, 210, 260, etc.)
6. If point #5 is not possible, then it should at least be a feature where EVERY Waifu still chases at least once. They should still be randomized, of course, but I would like to see it more balanced.

Nice game. I'm thinking of picking it up soon to do a let's play on my own. But the game clearly deserved an update to balance it out. Because it seems difficult and it's very easy to die with that slow speed and life regeneration, those locked doors and those monsters that go pretty bad. I don't know which monster is worse between the one that takes 75HP out of you at once, or the one that you have to look at but it's half bugged because it still moves forward and it speeds up randomly sometimes
