This is more impressive when you realise that other currencies, like Euro, Swiss Franc or Pound have been gaining against the Dollar at the same time, because shortly after the invasion fear in the financial markets led to a lot of movement towards the Dollar, which is now resetting back to normal. So loosing against the Dollar right now is doubly bad.

China is the likely great beneficiary as it can get even more favorable concessions. Russia will have to get used to partial vassaldom.
