How does the iPhone X work? (No Home Button)

The iPhone X doesn't have a home button so Apple added lots of new gestures and swipes to control your iPhone, here is my video showing how they work!

I feel like having a home button was kinda important and it was apples signature thing, i hate the fact that they took it away.

To be honest, I’d rather have the home button, even if I had to pay for it.
Whenever I touch a Samsung I always end up accidentally hitting the go back button or the home button. On my iPad, it really bothers me when there’s something on the screen, and whenever I try to wipe it off, it always brings me to the settings thing. If the home button was like that, I’d be leaving the app so much. I’d rather have a solid home button because I have more control, it’s also not that hard to press your thumb on the home button to turn it on instead of having the swipe up and face recognition, because I’d rather not have my phone randomly turn on when I don’t want it to. It also bugs me when I see screenshots with that bar at the bottom and I take A LOT of screenshots (not even kidding, all of my photos are screenshots, it’s because I have a hobby that involves taking thousands of screenshots and I’m not going to crop the bar out of all of them). Also, when I want to hold my iPad in one hand, I put my thumb on the white non-screen part. If there was screen there, I just... NO. When I watch stuff, I hold the iPad in one hand, when I play mobile games I hold the iPad in one hand and play with my other hand. And personally, I think the apple products look better with the white frame, but that’s just personal opinion. I am DEFINITELY not looking forward to when none of the current technology has home buttons. Lololol sorry :) I’m not hating, I’m just saying that I prefer the white frame. :’(

They should have put the home button on the side bottom, not having a home button looks like it would suck. Hopefully they put an option to put a virtual button for those that want the home button.

I have a 6S and I'm really wanting to upgrade. The X looks pretty sweet, but the no home button would be too annoying. Watching you close out the running apps took so much longer than if the phone had a home button. I don't think Apple should've taken away the home button, or the headphone jack. I'll probably end up going with the 8, or the 8Plus, Great video!

I enabled assistive touch on mine and set it to do what the home button did. (single press to go home, double for multitasking, and hold for Siri)

Thank you sir for this video I have ordered the new iPhone X 556 GB whatever it is. Never played with it because I don’t have it yet but I was curious of how to use it. and I appreciate your video to show me that. This will be our first iPhone, and we're looking forward to it. Being old enough to remember the rotary phones, LOL, nothing about this phone seems slow to us. What will be slow is our figuring out how to use everything. We'll get there. Thanks for the great review.

It's a good phone but there's couple things i don't like. On screen home button and smaller iPhone 8 top bezel would have been better. The notch is stupid
