I have tryed this but my copper pipes get fatter near the end how can i get around this as i need to replace a part

I have put in a new spiral mixer tap put the cold water is coming out both hot and cold any idea why

I don’t have a compression fitting, it looks like the ends of the tap are soldered to the pipe! Time to call a plumber?

I don’t have any isolation valves or fittings to the pipe work so wondering how the tap can be removed without these. Only fitting I can see is at the very base of the tap which looks like an olive. Very bizarre set up!
