The tempo "ramp" seems to be more of a tempo staircase. I can't even begin to imagine what programming goes into making something like this possible, and the other features are great and very useful - but the pitch/tempo ramping doesn't convince me yet. Still, thank you for a great presentation, Master Frodo!

We need a vari fi style built into the Daw that'll be dope

A "slow down" from the fade feature like Logic would be FIRE...

I love to see that feature independent of tempo track..😍 like an envelope maybe or the fades in logic pro.. that would make even more logical approach to creative workflow.. But I appreciate the good work and the direction you are going..😊👏🏻👏🏻

We just wanna VariFi type plugin native. Nothing more, nothing less.

More great ideas there. Thanks so much. Been using it on my Urs Heckmann u-he Repro 5. Print the tracks and then give them some wobble. A little bit like the band Japan, which I loved back in the 80's!

I like the repitch and reversed on the keys cool

Gregor, can you also time stretch tape for analog drums by bringing the pitch down and slowing down the groove? The idea is to record the drums a bit faster, then slow it down. Led Zep did this a lot to get that big drum sound. Thanks for the tutorials!

My tempo track isn’t showing for me to click it. Anyone can help?

I don't know if I like what I see. The speed graph suggests a smooth tempo (and therefore a tuning-) transition but what we get is a stuttering, half-tone walk over the keyboard. I just want the effect that the turntable just smoothly decreases in speed until it stops completely. And I hoped to achieve it like described in the video... Am I missing something?

Is there a way to do the tape stop and the tempo of the song will remain in tact?

you are moving too fast in your demonstration. Do you have to keep holding the option key down when you change the qauntize value? I could not follow what you were doing.

I have really been enjoying your videos, being that I am a live sound engineer who recently bought a studiolive 24 III, working on learning studio stuff while everything is shut down. Also just upgraded to sphere last night. I would be interested in seeing more about integrating the SL series III into studio one, especially things like using listen buses to preview your mix through different sets of speakers and headphones smoothly, maybe some stuff about monitor calibration and room tuning between the two devices. Also would be interested to see a more in depth explanation of the external instrument feature, and also how to assign the control surfaces on the SL24 to operate automation more efficiently, and also how this mixer could be integrated into the new show feature of studio one. There's a lot of stuff out there about each individual product, but almost nothing about getting them to work together. Thanks!

You must be kidding me.
The clips sound at a different pitch after you've messed with the tempo automation (0:29 vs 1:56) even if it's supposed to be the same tempo. Beside that, you can clearly hear "steps" in the pitch (1:54 and 2:13) and even with a slower automation (2:17).
Of course that's not the demonstrator's fault, but rather Presonus', but I can't believe that someone would go through these errors and decide to upload a showcase video anyway.

I really want to bend pitch per channel, rather than having to add to sample one and using the pitch bend, just have a pitch abilities straight of the audio sample

what's the command + ? to pick more than 3 or 4 tracks like you did above my Brother Gregor???

Can I use the tape timestrech automation also on just one vocal part leaving the rest of the track at the original speed?
