Hi Professor, I have a question around 8:10. How come when you took the square root of both sides, you got 1/2 z? Shouldn't it be plus or minus sqrt of z/2 since we don't know what the square root of z is? Or was there some sort of further algebraic manipulation you did?

Edit: Nevermind, I found it. Since it's z^2, the z^2 and sqrt cancel each other out and you just get z. z^1/2 x 2 = z.
