Hello Buzzfeed! Thank you Buzzfeed for having my food on your show. I loved the reactions to my food. Shame about the Pancit but the rest got better reactions which is amazing!

Thank to the guest for being honest and kind. I appreciate it very much. ❤

Here’s what was on the menu:

Lumpiang Sariwa - fresh spring rolls with young banana hearts and chicken. With homemade wrapper/pancake. Served with savoury & sweet sauce and crashed peanuts

Ukoy - shrimp and vegetable fritter with sweet potatoes, carrots, beansprouts and spring onions. Served with spiced vinegar

Pancit Canton - classic stir fried egg noodle with chicken and vegetables. Seasoned with soy sauce, oyster sauce and seasoning

Mae’s lechon - my signature brine overnight and slow cooked roast pork belly. As seen on BBC with Mary Berry’s Easter Feast. Served with hom made atchara (pickled carrots) and mang tomas sauce

Mango float - homemade no bake mango cake made with fresh mangoes, double cream, graham crackers and condensed milk

Many thanks to Godfrey too for always representing Filipino food! 💕🇵🇭

None of them are disrespectful. Even when they didn't like it, they weren't rude about it. That's how food taste testing videos should be done.

The lumpia they had was fresh lumpia, or what the northern region called as lumpiang sariwa. It’s not the deep fried kind lumpia one and the sauce is peanut based. That lumpia is still a bomb, regardless. ☺️

I think they got the wrong type of lumpia 😂 The guy was definitely talking about classic fried pork lumpia. They got fresh lumpia, which is basically a vegetable salad wrap.

Zambian lady here, Filipino food is bomb 🤤.

I’m so glad they used ukoy! No one ever does shrimp pancake fritters always adobo! Live some seafood in there and another fried item.

My stepmum is Filipino and I can confirm she’s a fabulous cook

I wanna know who made those dishes. The mango float in the tupperware is straight from a Filipino mums fridge 👀

He said Lumpia and his definition is deep fried obviously referring to the Lumpia shanghai (filipino meat spring rolls), why did they do him dirty with showing FRESH lumpia. It's totally different flavour, entirely different dish and only common thing is they are both 'wrapped' hence the word 'lumpia'. Buzzfeed is really lacking on their research department.

You are spot on when you said you're going to be FED in a Filipino household. You darn well will be bursting at the seams. 😅

Good thing that they love mango float. Its very easy to make and it only needs 4 ingredients. Mango, all purpose cream, condensed milk and graham crackers. No oven needed, just chill it into the fridge

Can't blame them not liking the Pancit. The moment I saw it, it didn't look right already lol I like my pancit a mix of rice and egg noodles cooked in hearty chicken stock, with lots of meat and fresh (crunchy) veggies. And it needs calamansi, not lemon.

Filipinos usually enjoy their food accompanied by dipping sauces. Like with the fresh lumpia, usually the sauce is smothered all over the lumpia. The pancit is usually accompanied by soy sauce with calamansi making it more interesting. Thanks for trying our food.

I love Filipino food and if you find a Filipino mom yes 1000%. They would absolutely feed you every hour on the hour. I’ve never tried pancit but never with the wide noodles. Lumpia they had is fresh lumpia and it’s absolutely delicious. It’s very light and refreshing.

We’re very proud of our Mang Tomas gravy brand. I appreciate how it passes the palate of Europeans. Its a must for every household when we eat lechon or other fried dishes.

This might be the best Pinoy food review I've watched. No ones unnecessarily rude and they were all just enjoying the food. I hope there's more

You mates are hilariously and delectably honest! Love it. Love it. Love it!

The fresh lumpia should be eaten with utensils. The sauce poured over the lumpia and sprinkle the peanuts on top.

Y’all featured foods not typical for being intro foods to Filipino food. The lumpia should’ve been the thinner fried version, exactly like egg rolls. The pancit should’ve had the thin translucent rice noodles. What they were given was pancit canton. Not the same as traditional rice noodle pancit. Then they should’ve been given either chicken or pork adobo. The dessert part, pretty good

Hi Sepi! If my memory serves me right, I think I first saw you on Jolly with Josh and Ollie, with your dad introducing Iranian food. And now that I see you trying and enjoying Filipino food, it brings me joy. Love from the Philippines ❤
