Im glad mayuri is finally getting respect.

His whole arc was catching up to kisuke. And the final match ups were shunsui, kisuke, mayuri, and kenpachi/byakuya/toshiro.

So it easilu puts mayuri in top captain discussions and puts him on even levels w kisuke. If only for a moment, it shows a completion of his story

Mayuri fights ‘dirty’, if we are talking about him fighting with just his zanpakuto’s abilities he’d lose to a lot of captains.

The issue is the drugs he makes and brings with him, even people like kenpachi can’t do anything to a drug that shuts down his body. I think hitsugaya was a heartbeat away from killing him at one point, but again those experimental drugs are so hard to counter when you don’t even notice when he uses them.
