Having the right tools don't make the technician, the technician makes the tools. Impressive knowledge Brian. Thanks

You have the most in depth, easy to understand videos ever. You saved me so much replacing my FX4 front hubs several years ago, and it is interesting seeing the same software the shop uses to diagnose these problems. Definitely sharing with my electronic students!

I had the airbag code for the sensor under the seat. I disconnected the battery for two hours, unbolted the passenger seat and reseated the connectors. The seat legs were rusty as was the floor so I cleaned both to bare metal. I put it back together and reset the code and so far so good!

I had these faults on a 2002 ford escape. Unhooked battery to be safe, opened the connectors on booth seats, used t-pin to tighten the metal connectors, sprayed with de-oxit, then applied the ford dielectric grease and reconnected. Been two plus years and working well- no faults.

Brian!!! Your videos are so awesome and helpful. I wrench on a fleet with 95% Fords from older Ranger all the way up to F-550.

Could you show what hardshell you are holding or wiggling? If I were to unplug them and blow off any dust and add some electrical grease, would that solve the air bag light on?

great info brian..I never even thought seat belts and air bag were wired together like that.. I thought impact sensor to airbag and that was it.

you are not going to believe this, but it works. I just did this and my light went out on 2014 f150. LOL, thanks

When people clean their cars with liquid or spill liquids on your seats or rain will affect them also. That's why I try to take the time to clean in those spots really good to make sure no moisture is there

I have a 1999 Ford F-150 showing a 35 airbag code. How do I check that out? I know it's a (35 Low Resistance Across Pins 8 and 9 at Diagnostic Monitor), but where do I start? Is there a recall?

Ay Chief, on my 2003 ford f250 5.4 4x4 xl, airbag, I believe the airbag for 99-07 is obsolete so im a bit worried but my question is how do you know the airbag even still works ? and is there a video on it ?

What kind of software are you using on your computer to see the data? If it is not too expensive I would invest in it.

I got a 2002 Ford explorer with 300, 000 miles on it and it's worth fixing, anything can be fixed back new compared to $60, 000 new explorer

Is it absolutely necessary to remove the seats to get at these plugs/connectors?
Can they be accessed (like you did?) by reaching underneath them?
