Dental veneers are essentially thin jackets of ceramic that are bonded onto the surface of teeth that have been minimally reduced to make room for building to the ideal appearance. I like to explain it as they are like press-on nails, but for your teeth, and much more durable and aesthetic. Veneers are ideal for teeth that have spaces, discoloration or are minorly misshapen or maligned. Veneers are a minimally invasive procedure that allows us to cover up and correct unaesthetic teeth that preserves that majority of the underlying tooth structure.
