I was a Sony shooter for like 15 years. In the last year and a half or so I have fully switched over to fuji. I have never heard a better description of fuji than this. Fuji makes me want to take pictures. Sony was what I used when I had to take pictures. Such a huge difference.

Interesting perspective. Very well illustrated. I use my Fujifilms for work. Have used them for the likes of the Chanel N°1 product line, for VOGUE, ELLE, etc... As all of the new cameras are very capable, Fujifilm does the job as well as any of the competitors. Out of my last 10 gigs, 6 were with XT's and 4 with GFX systems. The GFX 100S is phase detect autofocus.

Man this one is a home run. I upgraded to the Sony A7R5 for work and the jobs that need to get done. I have the X100v for fun and family. Funny enough, todayI just upgraded to an X-T5 from the X-T4 because I love the dials and look of that camera and for taking pictures without pressure. Love my Fuji Cameras.

Agree with everything you said. I sold my Sony A7iv and went Fujifilm X H2s and X T4. Shooting with Fujifilm is a joy.

As a car guy and a photographer, I couldnt agree more to this video. For 99% of a wedding day im shooting on my Z9s. That 1% of the day I break out the XT5. Its an enjoyable and fun experience.

I love how just… solid and, for lack of a better word, smart every opinion is. No blind trust in a brand. No blind spots when talking pros and cons. Definitely one of the few people I trust to give a true honest opinion that’s well thought through.

I switched from Canon to an XT-3 because of the tactile feel of the dials and the ability to use my vintage lenses on this camera. It brought back the love of photography.

Manny, I enjoy your videos. I was a Canon shooter for years a last fall completely switched to Fuji. I shoot with the X-T2. In my opinion the best of the XT series. I switched because I wanted to be more hands on with my photography. I feel that technology in cameras has taken the creativity out of photography. As far as autofocus, since moving to Fuji, I now shoot 98% of the time in manual focus. Even when I am doing wildlife. I still back button focus in manual focus, but I can dial in exactly on where I want to be. I know this sounds archaic, but when I started photography in the 80’s, I was shooting basketball games with a Nikon FG20, 105mm f2.8 and black and white film. There was no auto anything. Everyone has there style of shooting and Fuji allows me to shot my style easier than any system out there.
Thanks again for the video!

My Fuji x-s10 has become a camera I liked to document without pressure. Using the recipes to just shoot and post without overdoing it. It almost feels like a great camera to show my humanity. That’s why I’ve used my Fuji on the go when I don’t want to bring my Sony around.

Switched from Canon to Fuji and loving the GFX100s. Takes me back to the film era and a slower pace for thoughtful artistic impression...speed isn't everything. Paired with the x100v I'm loving this combo.

What an honest sincere expression of relatable thoughts. The car scenario is so on-point and relatable. I have a 1989 2jzgte MK3 SUPRA, and an Infiniti q50a. The shifting gears, and hearing that turbo spool makes me smile every day that I take it out.

A7iii was my go to. I bought an xt1 and fell in love. Sold a7iii and bought xh1. I bought a few good lenses and the 23mm 2.0 and boom I sold all my Sony stuff. I love the feel of Fujis.

I’ve been watching you for many years now. I was in the Sony band wagon for many years but found it to “easy”. Once I started street photography I made the Fuji jump and immediately felt more connected and proud of my images. Thanks for the video.

This is the best take on objective pros and cons on Fujifilm camera’s I’ve seen yet. Thanks for your insight on this topic.

I have to admit that with their Medium Format cameras and lenses, Fuji has done an amazing job of keeping the price within reason and the image quality is amazing. It's so tempting to move up to Medium

I love shooting my fuji stuff when not shooting pro with my R6. I just traded up from an xt20 to an x-s10. I love the S10 for the grip. I didn't mess with dials much. I mostly shoot street or casual and use Auto ISO with minimum SS set. I love the simulations and recipes. I mostly use the jpegs and do minimal tweaks. It's so much fun and relaxing to go this route.

I’ve picked up a gfx50sii and fallen in love with Fuji. The handling, workflow, film sims… just an absolute joy that puts out seriously solid images.

I’m ordering a xh2 with that 56mm 1.2 APD tonight.

If that holds up in low light and is fast enough the my Sony kit will be traded for a bunch of Fuji glass 👌🏼

You nailed it. Excellent opinion. Fuji has is cons but I love it, it boosted my love and joy for fotography. Good luck for 2023.

You highlight a very valid point. I shoot with the XT2, X100 and XE3 and I love the fact that the images are less over sharpened than for instance smartphones and some of the camera brands.
Keep on making these long formats. Great to see somebody taking their time to present their opinions and experiences

Thanks for this upload. I get what you are saying completely. I just bought the X-T5 with the 33 1.4 for my fun camera. Reminds me of the fun I had with my Canon A1 from many years ago with the convenience of being digital. I use an R5 for my work but the fuji is fun (and light)! Images are great. What more does anyone want? One thing, the traditional camera for me is the A1 and so the feel of the X-T5 is more traditional but I get when you say the H2 is more traditional for you. I am an old boy now 😂
