Powerwagon for offroading, GMC for towing. Got it. However it should be an option from the dealer to get your Powerwagon with 35"-36" tires...

Tremor vs AT4 should be interesting but I think the power wagon is still in a class of it's own when it comes to offroad

More videos with Steve if possible. He is very knowledgeable, speaks very well when getting his points across, and seems to really enjoy what he does. Would be nice to see him included in more videos.

I love my 1500 6.2 AT4, the power is awesome! I've pulled out jeeps, Rebel and a Raptor with the 3.5 turbo crap...keep them coming!

Great review guys. This is the only channel I trust to tell it how it is and not baby these 80K trucks. Well done.

The AT4 is for dirt roads and the snow belt, the PowerWagon is for offroad adventure. They are two completely different vehicles to serve 2 completely different purposes. It would be like comparing a 1500 AT4 to a raptor. This truck is meant for towing on rough roads, not making its own roads. PowerWagon is a fun toy if you have lots of money, but the AT4 is wildly the more practical truck. All they need to do is give it an electronic locker in the rear and maybe an LSD in the front like the tremor. The tremor as of now is the truck to beat because that will get close enough to the PW while maintaining its hauling capability

The HD GMC did damn good even though it doesn't have all the lockers and disconnecting front in that the powerwagon has and it's a heavier truck the g80 worked fine

GMC all the way or work and playing don't ever have a problem

For day to day driving, that G80 is extremely useful. Pulling away from the side of the road, icy driveways, etc. It kicks in before I'd have time to consider clicking a button. Both types of lockers have their benefits, I've been surprised by how good the G80 is.

Both are nice. The Ram is more appealing to me in my opinion, but they both are aesthetically pleasing to look at. However, on my personal opinion, and knowing heavy duty trucks, the solid axle of the Ram can handle more abuse and weight then that of the IFS of the GMC. IFS is great for on road use, but bad for off road use. You can not get the proper flex for off-roading then say the solid axle trucks like Ram and Ford.

Cant wait to see the Power Wagon to destroy the tremor next! It just has too much stuff going for it straight out of the box

These videos make we wish I had a locker on my truck 😕

I currently have a 2018 gmc duramax 3500 SRW. Before this truck i had the 2017 powerwagon. I RV full time, BLM land, so i'm offroad A LOT. I came the conclusion that the PW is better for pure offroad adventures. The GMC is a more well rounded work truck with off road capabilities. Now, i used to explore in the PW, taking trails like this. But I dont bother to do that in the GMC; the ride is just too rough, it weighs to much. But while pulling the camper the GMC can get me as far back as the powerwagon, considering i'm towing a TT. Now i mountain bike the trails or ride my dual sport, instead of explore in my truck. Trade offs...

Great video as usual but you NEED to get microphones.

I'm old school I like to pull my 5th wheel/gear confidently and safely. That AT4 will get me through just about any trail. Soon as you ask the Powerwagon to be a heavy duty truck it DO care and you are left with a 21ft jeep wrangler.

This went how everyone assumed it would. The Tremor comes off the bench on January 21 and the match-ups will get more interesting. It's still probably not going to work as well as the PW on the trail, but at least the comparison will be worth talking about.
