Got the katana 50 for 4 months now. All i could say is its a great weapon of choice for a bedroom and stage guitarist. Maximum potential when used with its software. I was planning to buy pedals but most of them are in the program lol.

The graphic eq in tone studio is your best friend if you play metal. The Katana 50 really kicks ass for 200 bucks if you learn to use the tone studio properly. I run a horizon devices precision drive through the brown channel with graphic eq preamp in the mod position then graphic eq. This amp can do a lot. I've had it for 7 months and I'm really digging it.

I played through one yesterday at PMT in Cardiff and in my opinion it rips, and perfect for not wanting to annoying anyone late into the night but the tone is there !!

I have the 100 watt and it kicks absolute ass on lead. I don't have a favourite channel and the effects are never ending on tone studio.

Just got Katana 100 MK2. I spent 15 years playing on an old Randall VMX35 with a Behringer Ultra Metal. What in the hell was I thinking? This thing really takes my hobby to the next level. I am sure it’s great for professionals and live shows as well. I am ready in case I ever find myself needed in a band.

I have the 100 2x12 and I love it :)! Trying to get a katana air and artist (would like to have the Katana head too), but right now I'm saving up to get me the Waza head and 4x12 if I can find it :D. It's my dream amp.
