I've been listening to Snow Patrol for almost fifteen years now. They're one of the first bands I fell in love with as a young teenager and their music has stayed with me all these years. It brings me so much joy every time they release new music. Gary's voice and beautiful writing are as comforting as the warmth of a crackling fire on a winter's day. This song has to be my favourite out of the three they've released so far from 'The Forest Is The Path'. The lyrics are so tender and heartwrenching and the music is absolutely beautiful. I teared up the first time I heard this and needless to say, I will keep replaying it several times over for the next few weeks. ❤️

Snow Patrol are easily one of the more influential bands of the last 20 years.. 2024, this song is an hymn to the music we all miss. The song writing is on another level. Lyrics are so poetic and so meaningful in so many different ways. Few songs leave you speacless with so sweet & sour feelings...this is one of them.
