If, your on S.S.I. you know that 8.7% increase didn't help a bit, with inflation jumping up to 30%, on our food gas and utilities, that was a joke, they need to lower the inflation, or raise our payments at least 200.00 a month or 1200.00 a year, get serious !!

This is nothing but hype. Every year we get a cola increase. Everybody in the program gets a "letter" which is nothing more than an earnings statement. Anytime you have a change in pay you get a "letter". Your 1099 comes later for tax purposes. This guy isn't telling anybody anything new. If you've been a recipient for any length of you know how the system works.

They only give my mother $36 additional for her SSA and $17 additional for SSI. She only getting total of $968 with those added Cola. If she doesn’t live with me and paying rent on her own she won’t even survive!

no letter for my uncle so far, his check went from 918 to 1020. he cant even afford to be homeless, how is it the junkies get almost 3x's that along with food stamps, and my uncle gets nothing

8.7% increase I think. What about the extra $200 a month increase, is this going to pass Congress? Even though I haven’t retired, my estimated amount changed. It could had reflected my 2022 Earnings or I could be getting the raise too…Cheers everyone.
