I ordered a white model only a day ago after seeing this product advertised online. I live in Australia, and as I ordered it directly from overseas, it costs about 400 dollars Australian. As a MAC user for a couple of years now, I have never looked back at using Windows. The quality of material and features is so refreshing after using Microsoft Windows for 30 years.. The webcam I use was a top of the range model, but the quality is very poor these days. I like the idea of mobility on this camera, rather than being fixed or built in on PC and only limited to Facetime. It will be a nice addition to both my iMac24 desktop and my AirMacPro laptop. I think money well spent after seeing some positive reviews. Not everyone will agree, but it is individual choice and preference.

I don’t get it- your skin looks much smoother and and the resolution looks much better with the MacBook camera- your features look the same with both cameras so I’m assuming the aperture settings are the same. Am I missing something?

Great camera, depressing software. They’ve been attempting to improve for the last 2 years and it’s painfully still not close to mass consumption at that price. At this point I’m attempting to hack it just to make it work without their software.
Also Apple has tons of telemetry that shows most don’t care about the camera quality. We’re in < 10%
