My take on this as a heterosexual man is that lots of trans women go that extra mile with their look, clothes, makeup, hair so look absolutely stunning which of course attracts straight men the same way straight men are attracted to stunning biological women ( i wont use those pronouns, sorry)... lets say i'm scrolling tictok and a stunning woman pops up, i stop, i'm attracted... Sometimes they are trans but I'm attracted BEFORE i find this out.... when i find out their gender my attraction to them does NOT change... so what if sex is a little different. Yes I've been with a trans girl, I'm still straight and no one can tell me otherwise, I'm NOT bi as i have ZERO attraction to men....

It's not gay. It doesn't matter if they're the same sex as you, if they appear exactly like a female and you're attracted to their feminine characteristics then you're just straight.

I am a 100% Gay man and I could NOT be attracted to a Trans-man the way I am attracted to a biological man. I have seen Trans-men and before knowing they were trans, I may have thought they were cute...BUT...after knowing they are Trans, it kills it for me. Some of what makes you attracted to someone is NOT just physical, but mental as well. Once I know this person has female chromosomes, can still get pregnant, probably is NOT as physically strong as me, so on and so forth, it kills ALL attraction. If a man is 100% strait, I can see him being attracted to a trans-woman who is passable because she looks like a biological woman, BUT..once he finds out she is Trans, especially if she has a penis, No, I don't believe he is 100% strait. The scale of sexuality is NOT cut and dry. MOST people are NOT 100% strait or Gay, and that is something that a lot of people don't own up to. Regardless of how convincing a Trans-woman is, if a man can still be sexual with her and she has a penis, he is NOT gay, but he cetainly has the potential to be Bi-sexual or pan-sexual. A man is 100% Gay would NOT be attracted to someone that looks just ike a woman, Trust me...I should know. So, that type of guy is in that Gray area between strait and Gay.

Being from a rural community, I can say that it messes with your head a ton. Yes I would consider myself straight, because I'm attracted to women...and trans that look like women. If they aren't feminine, I not attracted. So maybe just an open minded straight guy I guess? I think being compatible with who they are is more important to what they are.

Yeah, they are some flavor of queer - make up a category. Since you make up new categories all the time, I find the hesitance to do so for trans attracted, so called "straight" men, just a way to couple the trans women to the straight men. They aren't "straight", they are some flavor of queer, fetishists, kink loving type men.

I see many negative comment come from women. Sadly, some women see us trans women as some sort of threat. There is in reality no one who respects and appreciates womanhood more than trans women. Funny that the vitriol is aimed at us when it is men who have set up the rules to pay women less, who abuse women, and who disrespect women. It is not easy being trans, it is not a choice, and it cannot simply be ignored. A gay man, believe me, would have no interest in me. Guys attracted to trans women are not gay. Guys who speak up about their attraction are brave and kinda hot for doing it.

As a matter of fact, terms Gynesexual and Androsexual have more logic behind them than Gay, Lesbian, Bi or Straight. Society should def think towards changing the language. However, these terms (Gyne and Andro) - they just don't sound cool. Which is unfortunately the reason why it is unlikely that many people would use them.

The research you present is correct. I myself identify as a bisexual who's attracted to trans women. I love both their breasts and their male genitalia if they have them. If they don't, that's absolutely fine, too.

I talked to a guy who was into Transwomen. He told me he had a threesome with a man and a Transwoman. He did everything with the girl's parts with enthusiasm and arousal, but touching the guy's parts didn't arouse him at all. He identifies as a straight man. It proves that regardless of body parts, his attraction will only be with women, cis or trans.

i think that it's not the private parts what really cause attraction. because you may be attracted to hands of. a person you find attractive, to their neck, fingers whatever. I think the attraction is not about physiology. it's about energy. I think the term Gynesexual is the right one
