Turkish wedding entrances are usually accompanied by the melodies played with the davul and zurna, '#Oğlanbizimkızbizim'. Also known as '#Şenoladüğünşenola'. But this groom has adopted a new style which is fine ofcourse. As the melodies selected are still Turkish with slightly Arabic variations to the beats. Observed at 2:00-2:10. At 2:28, a Kurdish melody called 'Şemmame' is being played with Arabic notes. That's why it sounds more middle eastern than Urfa style originally. Drumming beats and woodwind melodies are usually influenced by the musicians ethnographic backgrounds.

So I was at my older brothers freibd wedding and since I’m Turk ofc the drums were loud way louder than this I was legit dead for half and gore u couldn’t hear 😂🇹🇷

I witnessed one today, with earphones in and heard the Bass drum and was like : Is there a concert, a demonstration - until I heard the flute and it was like " did I fall into another universe?" What happens here? And then the bride came. I was so in shock I didn't know what to do or not stand in the way but the drum kept me in place so I tried to let eyeryone pass with my head bowed and smiling and clapping along and slooowly made my way to my door, not trying to rush - because everyone was filming, but also tried to hurry - as to not disturb the pictures don't know . Whas that ok ?
I tried to let anyone in ( who lived in my house of the complex ) as it began to rain quickly and the families settled into their appartements...
