I also find it interesting that a certain spider hangs on a string and when frightened or threatened, commences in twirling itself in the pattern and shape of a p-brane. To me, this is God the artist demonstrating His personal flair in all He creates.

Being on the more practical side of science, as an engineer with a PhD in applied thermodynamics, I remember that in my old University days as a student, we were told that if the results of a calculation are either very small or very large, then there is something wrong with the calculation. Having read the Randall - Sundrum Brane Theory, I find the concept of a Brane Universe very interesting. A Brane pair system that only gravity interacts through the Bulk between the Branes, was a particularly interesting concept as far as the cyclic Universe theories could be explained through Brain collisions. The only problem I could see with my limited knowledge of the subject, is the location of the second Brane. In the Randall - Sundrum theory, the second Brane is considered to be an infinite distance away. The assumption that the Branes could be wrapped around themselves on the Plank scale is also considered, but the infinite distance is chosen for simplicity of the calculations. However, in such a case gravity would not have any real interaction between the Branes, nor could the Branes collide as other theories predict in ekpyrotic models of the Universe. Being on the applied side of science, I thought that the two Branes proposed in the original Randall - Sundrum publication, might be in fact the two sides of a single Brane with a common time dimension and negative space dimensions relative to one another. In such a model, each side of the Brane would be invisible to observation from the other side (like the sides of a sheet of paper that each is invisible to the other), however gravity could still interact with their contents in a direction vertical to the Brane as predicted to do through the Bulk in the original Randal - Sundrum two Brane model. If this idea has any real meaning, then the Brane collisions of the ekpyrotic theories, would not involve the Branes themselves but their contents interacting, once they reached a certain state of Universal evolution. I would like to have an expert's opinion on this idea, since this field is not the field of my expertise, but I am only interested on the subject out of personal curiosity.

I have a theory that parts of M-theory could’ve been explained by the universe being a very large hypersphere, much larger than the observable universe. with our universe being the 3D surface of the 4D sphere.

In brane cosmology the universe is thought to be an infinitely extended 3-brane sat in a bulk.

But what if what’s identified as the 3-brane / hyperplane / membrane is really a small part of a VERY large hypersphere, one so big that the curvature wouldn’t be measurable from within the observable universe

Quantum gravity is when a virtual particles recombine with another the anti virtual particle than the one it came from. This repeated is a quantum gravitational wave.
It is also the bending of spacetime like atoms moving in a metal that is bent : look up edge dislocation for the visual.

A Theory should make a prediction that can be falsified. You subject it to testing and its result will validate the prediction or falsify it. Everything else is religion/faith based ideas

I the more accurate reality is, that our reality actually has an infinite amount of both spacial & temporal dimensions altogether.
