I just finished watching the last episode and I had a strong feeling that the dueling pistols from Count Rostov’s story he told Nina would come back into play at some point. Alexander is the only person in that entire hotel that knew about the dueling pistols behind the pictures and it played out perfectly. This is a good series and Ewan McGregor played a White Russian aristocrat very well.

Was there no one available who could do a Russian accent? I loved the book but Ewan McGregor is a bad fit for the Count.

Don't like what he's wearing, and the way he's sitting, he looks older than he is. He doesn't seem to be aging well in general.
