Also lateral runout. In other words always get the hub and inside surface of the rotor shiny clean. Lateral runout is a GUARANTEE of shaken' break. It pays to be a bit anal and index the rotors to absolutely minimize lateral runout. Less than .002 is acceptable, but less than .001 is preferable. The payoff for the extra 10 minutes on each wheel is not having to do another brake job for 50, 000 miles.

I’m surprised those oem rotors warped like that. Maybe install springs also on pads. Good tips to fix problems thanks

I have a 2015 Honda Accord. I replaced my front pads and rotors oem parts from Honda less than 2 years ago. The rear pads and rotors never been replaced. And my steer wheel started shaking recently when braking at 80 mph. Is it the front or the rear that is causing the vibration? Thanks in advance for your feedbacks

Replace the hubs, the ball bearings within one of the hubs is NOT within the 2 micron tolerance.. Been there before !! TRUST ME..

I had this exact problem on an 02 Accord. OEM parts also. 3 months later was shaking again. That car didn't have spring loaded pad retainers though. When you installed the pads they would just stay flush against the rotor. Same on my 2012 CRV. But the CRV doesn't have this problem. I like those pad springs. What kind of car is that?
