I added this in March of 2019 Joe, if you see it, I would suggest that on a load like this I would have had my splitter right behind and in line with my truck and when I took one piece off I would have split that and the half that is opposite your body I would place on the tail gate and split the other half. Throw it just out of my way to place on truck later. I would take as many off the front of the bed so that once that is clear I would start throwing the split pieces right into the truck. Then work the wood off near the tail gate and I use a rake of grubbing hole to reach behind the pieces that are too far for me to reach, works for me fine but only apply what works best for you. When you pick up the piece from off the truck or tail gate then you can just sit it on your splitter and split it. That saves you for sitting it down on the ground or stack and having to pick it up later. If you have to put it on the ground it will be easier to throw it on the truck rather than picking up the bigger piece twice. Just a suggestion to consider. Keep on keeping on.

Think you could just bring the splitter to the job joe? I do it like that a lot in the summer. Ill bring a laboror and a splitter, set them up, and just run loads out while they split. If I have a ton of deliveries I have brought 2 splitters and 2 guys on site. Best day doing it that way was 6 cords, cut split, and delivered

i wouldve had the splitter right next to where youre gonna store that firewood and split them right off the back of your truck then you only need to lift it once
