Maybe I'm being picky but it would have been nice if the video covered choosing and installing the right drain plug since that's what the title is... nothing at all about installing and choosing was dealt with with a "whatever you choose" throwaway line?? How to choose the proper location, what sealants to use, how to properly secure ... etc. etc...

That was the best "How to install a drain plug in a boat that already has a drain plug installed" video I've ever seen!!

Thanks for a great video. I wasn't sure if the drain plug could be installed from the outside of the boat. It was a real pain to install mine from the inside of the boat but this video showed I could do it much easier from the outside of the boat!!!! Thanks again.

holy shit half of this video is the ad and the other half is the credits with "whatever you want" as the program.

this may sound crazy but do you have any videos showing what type of drain plug and how to install a drain plug on a 15.5' aluminum boat that doesn't have a drain plug at all? on my sea king 15.5ft. the drain plug is in the corner of the transom..i have to tilt boat to the one side in order to drain water..i would like to add a drain plug in the center to drain water evenly while its sitting on the trailer..any suggestions?

good video but would be nice to mention if you tighten the 1inch outside chain plug too much it will break .. I really don't like that type so I guess I will try the largest easiest one that you pull up to secure. thanks capt.

First 42 seconds should be deleted or moved to the end. Text that appears slowly from about 42 seconds should instead be spoken by a person.

Captain Weekend:  Great series of videos...  I have to re-install the complete garboard drain assembly on my SeaRay 200 bowrider.  3 screws to the hull,  NOT a through-hull design.  I have removed all of the old sealant and cleaned the drain assembly and the fiberglass with Acetone.  I have 3M4200 FastCure sealant.

I assume being generous and using "more than enough" on both the assembly and the screw heads is recommended.  And working quickly to cleanup the excess.

Do you have any tricks/tips for a weekend warrior?

Thanks!
