How to Share Your Location the Right Way (& With Anyone, on Any Phone)

Sometimes it's just so much easier to share your location with someone than trying to tell them to meet you or how close you are, etc. Thing is it's not that apparent as to the best way to share your location.

iPhones have their own way that doesn't work with Android phones, you should use one that lets you easily revoke or even have the location access expire, and you want one that's easy to get navigation directions from, etc.

So, the way I would recommend to share your location is the way built into Google Maps itself that I don't think most people know about. Let me show you how to share your location using it.

What about if you have an iPhone and an android device and the fix me message doesn’t come up to make iPhone default for sharing location to friends and family so my other device that isn’t with me is being shown instead of my iPhone

Hi there, I've tried this before but it only shares it every 30seconds or so. It's not like messenger used to be where it showed the arrow moving all the time. I can't get live location with messenger anymore just pinned locations. Do you know how to get google to show constant movement of live location? We liked to use it to monitor each other on bike rides.

Just to help anyone out there who's having trouble... If you're struggling to share location until you stop it, make sure you are sending the location to gmails instead of phone numbers. It took me like 20 mins to figure this out.

Wanted to find another solution. I have a tablet without gps but a phone with gps. The idea was to use my phone's gps to be used as if it was the tablet's gps. For now can't find any clue it seems that does not exists...
