This is really embarrassing, these two talk as if they are talking about a Banana Republic and its leaders can be persuaded and won over by saying a few niceties about them. And these kind of talk about Saudi Arabia’s neighbour Iran is downright outrageous. She is almost jumping with joy.
One needs to ask, is this Saudi Arabia’s message to the world. Because, the world is watching.

It has been proven that Iran remains vulnerable to Israeli aggression as long as it lacks a real and effective defense system. It is vital for Iran's long term security to build such a deterrent system that has shielded other nations from outside aggressions.

You cannot ask Israel the impossible. In practice, there are relatively less uninvolved casualties in Gaza, compared to any other Urban warfare in modern history, despite the fact that Hamas is using human shields as a strategy.

The Israeli approach is to eliminate an existential threat. Hamas used the fragile ceasefire reached previously to build a military infrastructure based on using their own people as human shields.
Hamas could have ended the war at any point since October 7 by surrendering and returning the hostages.
Military, they have zero chance of winning. Their only weapon is stirring up public opinion. Their ammunition to do that is their own people's death and the destruction of civilian infrastructures inside or under which they operate.
There is little to no pressure on Hamas to surrender.
Israel side is always criticized but no one has a constructive solution to create safe borders.
Since the successful peace with Egypt, no negotiation eith Palestinian representatives has moved the needle one inch.
The 2005 evacuation of Gaza by Israel was meant as a trial balloon for Creating a Palestinian state. When Hamas took power in 2006, both Israel and Egypt closed their borders.
And then, October 7 2023 took place.
The negotiated peace with Lebanon in 2006 did not prevent Hezbollah from launching an average of 20 daily rockets on Israel since October 8, 2023.

Aside from forcibly extirpating Iran proxies from the region, what are viable solutions?
