My lightweight sea travel fishing gear & curing bait. In this video we look at my lightweight sea fishing gear utilising the Rigged and Ready Smuggler Max and I'lll show you how to cure your own fish, worms or squid for bait.

Packing light whilst sea fishing can be quite a difficult task, especially if you’re carrying beach casters and all the gear with them.

Here’s my list of lightweight sea fishing travel gear I use. As mentioned in the video what gear I take is all dependant on time of year and where i’m fishing.

Please let know what you use as a rod holder in the comments and let me know what you fish for with the Rigged & Ready S-Max.

Also included in video is my method of curing sea baits. Curing baits in salt like this gives your a shelf stable sea bait that can be kept out of the fridge. Perfect for those days away fishing or a long walk in.

Great video mate, very informative. I like the sound of the S max. We need another beach date soon I think. 😁

I salt out my baits also but after I put it on the rig I also have a pot with fish/crab oil that I put them in. So when time to change bait I take off the rig and put a new bait - rig in its place. I have to salt out and vac seal cause the misses complains about the smell of my bait fridge and freezer every time she goes to the shed for the washer machine and dryer.

Belter of a video bud. Im planning on getting into fly fishing next season and I've got my eye on the RAR fly 2. Im thinking the 7" for fishing gullys and from the canoe and the 9" from the shore. Any thoughts/tips on that? 👍
