like sq(a) = sq(b) + sq(c) - 2bc cos A
where angle A is the angle opposite to side a.

Sir this is very helpful & I'm going to continue this derivation:
or, b^2 + 2acCosB=c^2 + a^2
or, 2ac.CosB = c^2 + a^2 + b^2
Therefore, Cos B = c^2 + a^2 + b^2 by 2ac.
Then proved
