Hisense H9F Dark Corner Issue Update

I wanted to give all of you a quick update of the complaint of dark corners on the Hisense H9F TV. My service ticket is not completed but just an update at this time. Thanks for watching as always.

I hope the next Hisense rep you talk to has a better answer about the corners and clears up the return policy. It's like the customer has a 50/50 chance of clear corners or dark corners based on your experience and your readers' experiences. Glad that Vizio had a better customer service experience for you with their soundbar.

Bought mine from Best buy and got there extended warranty so I'm covered.

About to get my 55 b7a OLED replaced due to burn in / image retention.

I've experienced and seen "vignetting" on many led/lcd fald televisions. It's usually only present in solid color backgrounds. My 55inch h9f should arrive tomorrow. My main TV is a 55B7A OLED. This hisense is going in the game room. I've had zero issues with the OLED, but my viewing habits do not leave much, if any chance for burn in. Slight, image retention, sure, but that's to be expected. Had to live with that with plasma. I'll let you know if my hisense works well for me. OLED definitely spoils the eye, and I'm sure to notice any blooming, uniformity, or vignetting.

I'm sorry your having them problems I own 2 65 inch H9F and neither have your problems mine are fantastic and I also had both mine celebrated

My 65 H9F has the dark corners too. I saw somewhere else that was pretty common with full array dimming. Screen uniformity is pretty good. That would bother me more.

Calibration takes care of this it's adjusting the local dimming

Hi Chad o got a question , Can you see some vertical line of round spots on rihgt side of screen??this only happens when fast moving scenes.

Just bought one after looking up so many reviews. Also has dark corners. Should have splurged on the samsung I guess lol

I only notice when the screen is on with no picture. Otherwise, seems to be ok. Buy the extended warranty, in 2 years fry it with a usb killer drive...free upg...lol

It is a manufacturing defect and this is becauseHisense is paying a little less money for some of their electronics stock which means that they get more bad units.
