Although I respect his answer here, I believe the true answer will never be known. Allah is knowing of all things- he could have from the very beginning preserved the message. God himself in the Quran tells us there are unknown things that he is only knowing of. Maybe we will never know- but we must trust his plan.

Wouldn't it be better to protect those books too (the Bible and other sky books), even if the message was for a specific time?

The Quran is the confirmation of the Psalms, Torah and Bible. We must read all these books with the Quran as the leading authority and the go-to source for the verification of all matters written within the previous scriptures. This is what is meant by the Quran being a confirmation for what was revealed before it

According to your logic there must be revelations after muhammad SAW.
Why would there be no revelations after Quran?
Why Allah didnt made the first life manual when Adam AS was sent down the earth that this was the right way of living your life?
But then after, he stopped the process of revelations suddenly and told this one quran is ultimate.

I dont like the sheikh's analogy tbh.
IN Islam, humans have free will from compulsion, but not free will from causation. We have ultimate free will in that we can choose evil or good. but we cannot have free will of seeing the causes of what we choose. Similarly, behind the unlimited wisdom of Allah subhanihu wa taala, is that he gave the people of the book to choose. Most chose to follow desires and corrupt the messages. that was their free will. The causes that stem from this, is the revelation of Muhammad s.a.a.w.s, khatam al anbiya (seal of the prophets. the last messenger) in which he preached the uncorrupted truth that Allah has promised to safe guard/perserve (which, is true to this very day) Now, the previous revelation's corruptedness caused Islam. And the Causes of Islam, is the test. And we start again: To choose Islam or not. And the Causes of our decisions is the akhira (the hereafter; when you die) and those choices will be looked at in yom al qiyama (day of judgement). This is just a miniscule example out of the unlimited bounty and wisdom of Allah, our creator.

If Allah did not protect all Scripture, the are few possible reasons:
1 Allah contradicts himself
2 Muhammed did not get quran from Allah, but made it up
3 Allah is not truth, but lie.

Imagine a Chemistry teacher (Allah) giving 3 test paper to his students (Humans) except 2/3 of his questions have been changed from Chemistry to Physics without his will and inability to protect it…

How do you expect a student to be successful when teacher has allowed so much confusions and ideologies in this world… Its a clutter world with even Allah have 3 different religious text ideologies for the “people” to pick and follow the right one… Infact, how do you consider the “one” all powerful when he cant protect his own words via The way Quran did. If so he couldnt, atleast write it in the quran that “as of today, Quran is the updated version since the words of gods have been corrupted in the scriptures before.” But its nowwhere in Quran as an unequivocal statement (unless I am wrong).

Heres even a better analogy, lol:

The teacher presents his student with 3 exams on paper. 2/3 of them are false and 1/3 is the truth… except all looks very close to be true.. how do we determine which is the right one when others are very confusing and LITERALLY CAME FROM HIM.. And if you say that well quran is the last text as its written but the other two dont say that. The first 2 say that they are the true text and you have spokepersons (prophets sent to specific times) convincing you which book to read at different time of millennia.

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!! And oh btw, those are only 3 religious ideologies that we are assuming came from “god”. What about the other million religions that date really far back… what kind of sadistic test is this given by a teacher who isnt clear with you… ofcourse its going to cause chaos and good people being distracted…


Its mad confusing broski… I am a muslim too but struggle with this thing.

If I wad god and Adam (PBUH) was the first human being and prophet sent to earth, then my only first and last revelation would be given to Adam PBUH as a human manual to live your life. Those who stray away from it and create their own manuals contradicting that god sent manual will be punished in the hereafter.
