You can do it. I dreamed of having my own CNC machine when I was your age. But they cost $100, 000 dollars back then. Now I have my own CNC machining business😊

Great to see a new video from you! I was a bit concerned about your situation after some of your recent vids. The people who make it so difficult for you must not have any idea how much good you’re doing.

Not going to lie the first video that brought me here months ago was her looks. But her skill and details she goes into when describing and using the different products she tests is what has kept me coming back. Keep up the good work!

I know people who can't cope with IKEA flat pack furniture. I love it when you use tech speak -- spinny thing etc. Please continue to be entertaining and informative. :)

For 20 years I was a CNC set-up operator and ran a cell with three CNC lathes.
The types of machines we ran were Hitachi Seki, Okuma, Mazak, Kia and a Okuma Robotic Gantry loading system. I enjoyed going to work everyday and working with these amazing machines. You should see if you could get a tour of a plant that uses CNC production machines it would blow your mind to see what they are capable of doing. Keep doing what you do and have fun.

My dad used to build and operate CNC machines in the garage back in the day. Now he's building a 3D printer and he loves it VERY much! I need to show him your videos because his electrical engineering side might dig this!

Super encouraging & motivating. I bought a second hand engraver to make printed circuit boards & although I got it to mostly work including auto levelling I then realised I could buy pcb from China of such good quality that it was a bad use of time to try & engrave them. My engraver as since sat gathering dust, but you have motivated me to try & use it as an engraver for some acrylic led lights & some wood cutting to try & make press tools to imprint onto leather. It is so encouraging to have such a motivating person delighting in learning new things whereas most of the people who surround me are so set in their ways that they have forgotten that life is a lot better if you do things. It is easy to become trapped in boring ways like many I meet which is why I am so thankful for the neural net of makers around the world, like you, who lift me up & help me. Thanks for sharing!

I did much the same. I bought a smaller CNC machine to learn on with the goal of building a huge one (5' x 10') later. I think you made the right decision.

"Square cube law is not doing me any favors." --- See, this quality content is why I keep coming back. It made me smile.

Once again, great video!

I bought the Sainsmart Genmitsu 3018 PRO for myself last month. So far it is working great for me. I've been using it to help cut plastic and wood for making test fixtures. I do the 3D CAD in Fusion 360, generate and export the toolpath, and control the machine from bCNC. I had the same frustration with the collet installation you did, but I like your point - if you put it together, you know how ot take it apart to fix it. :) Thanks for another great video!

Damn Girl you would put most people to shame with what you can do...You just highlight how lazy people are when it comes to learning new stuff...Love the pink shield thanks for the review

I'm loving all these tiny and adorable little desktop CNC machines that have been popping up. It's just like over a decade ago when 3D printing went from the giant car sized stratasys printers to tiny adorable desktop printers. They may not have the power or precision of their larger industrial counterparts but already makers are finding loads of uses for them just like we did with printers. Keep up the great work Naomi. I've been contemplating a jump into SLA printing and CNC and it's nice to see a content creator I trust and admire taking that journey before I take that first step into new territory.

Way more than 3X the intelligence and drive. Great woman.

I love it. A "Spinny" thing instead of a "Squirty" thing. Much easier to say then additive printing and subtractive machining. Give yourself a little slack, meaning don't be so hard on yourself. You built the "Spinny" thing and it worked, that is pretty impressive. I recently purchased one of these kits and I hope I have the same level of success that you have shown here. Keep broadcasting!!

CNC is both hard and easy. I suggest learning a little about welding as you move forward with CNC. I'm a heavy wheeled mechanic which both come in handy. There is a little cross over knowledge with welding and metal working.

You are "doing it". Not just watching the world fly by.
That's why you're awesome.
The haters will only make you stronger.

Best Wishes from the UK. :)

Someone just gave me one of these cnc machines for free, and I just got it running and can't wait to use it tomorrow, that's why I'm here hoping to learn something about it👍👍

Thanks for sharing and as always keep building👍
