Wow, I can't thank you enough, I've been watching your videos and learning so much. Been living with severe post concussion syndrome from multiple concussions for years and finally I am getting some insight. Suffering years of severe depression and anxiety, among other symptoms, but was wondering why heavy exercise was making it worse. These blows to the head are on top of living through intergenerational trauma being Indigenous and impacted from colonization and residential schools.I've been scared for my life, but a lot of these videos have been giving me clarity on PCS management. I also been studying and researching the benefits of psychedelics, mainly mushrooms/psilocybin, for TBI, trauma, anxiety, depression, neuroplasticity and decided to try my first psychedelic ceremony. Not a heroic dose, but medium size and can definitely say it brought a lot my symptoms down by 50%, especially the depression, and feeling of emptiness and lack of purpose, motivation and energy. I'm thinking of going on another one soon, as I feel it will help even more with communication among the brain and ANS. Thanks again!

Found this so interesting, thank you so much. I had a bump to head 7 days ago and have been passing out twice daily even though I am resting. It’s been a real concern been a mum of young children. Doctors just continue to say it’s concussion and to rest so it’s great to understand it all a little bit more.

This is so interesting. I am almost 100% sure i have this. When I exercise on a bike and keep my pulse a bit low, I dont get really bad symptoms. But when I for instance go on an elliptical I get much worse symptoms!

Hi. Great video. Question: if a concussion patient has ans dysfunction/excercise intolerance, is it safe for them to still Donate Blood? What would happen just feel more light-headed/dizzy???

I'm noticing that there's no listed clinics on your website in New York City proper. Do you have any recs for an NYC doc/clinic not on your list?

I was in an accident October 1, 2023. I had a TBI and am still suffering. I’ve been dizzy and given orthostatic hypotension meds which aren’t working. In the drs notes in their app, he says autonomic nervous system dysfunction, but he didn’t tell me anything about it. I’ve searched since and have no one to help me with it yet. I’m so fatigued and have to sleep a lot, trouble swallowing, and several of the symptoms you’ve mentioned. Hugz, Tree

How would you test a child (9)? I have a child with a lot of these chronic symptoms but did not have a head injury?

I’m two months post concussion and very much recognise these symptoms! I had two questions though. Is it possible that my symptoms get worse after exercise and not during? And I take methylphenidate for my adhd, could this be contributing to the dysautonomia?

Hey I've been watching your videos and they are so informative. I would really appreciate some kind of feedback in regards to my situation. I hit the back of my head 4 days ago on a desk while in sleep. It was very hard but not hard enough to make me loose any consciousness or experience symptoms of going to the ER. Fast forward 4 days later. I'm experiencing extreme nausea and have had diarrhea since accident every time I have a BM also headaches, dizziness and light and noise sensitivity. My parents have kind of blown off the situation and are reluctant for me to get the help I think I need. They think in the following days I will be better but the symptoms persist. I would like to see a concussion specialist so I can maybe lower my chances of PCS but my parents will think I'm overreacting and won't want to spend the extra money so I can receive some help. I feel quite stuck. Should I see a specialist and how do I know im picking the right person for my treatmet and how do I convince my parents I need help?

I got a tbi in 2019 a few months later almost died because my neuro refused to believe my passing out and heart rate falling to 20 all the time was real.
