It’s all completely above my head, but very interesting, so glad you managed to fix the replacement battery. I drive an E Niro, love it but wouldn’t have a notion on how it works just glad it does. It’s great that there are so many people out there that are willing to help.

It's neat, the back row modules alone are similar capacity to an original whole 24 kWh battery pack! Best of luck! My 62 kwh pack now has 45k miles in the 2014 car, and continues to look good. We'll see!

I don’t drive a Leaf, however I followed your videos with interest. Many thanks!

Great work. You should do a full 1000km run in one day! Congratulations on making the battery work! Hard work paid off!

Hey Darla,

you did a great job! And I really think that we would need much more people like you that keep older EVs running!

Like you've already mentioned batteries with an issue at just one pack "others" usually through away. What a waste of resources.

Anyway, the M12x1.25 is a common machine thread (machine screws) and also common on Italian cars, just if you should need spares.

Here watching Dalatube while my 62 swapped 2014 Leaf fast charges. Yikes i saw 31E7 here. No that's not the code I've seen, whew!! Recently i came across two 9s modules to use for stationary storage, and as spares if my pack ever needs. Hope your enjoying your 62kwh Leaf Dala!

I'm so glad that it all worked out! It must have been so stressful to think that you are wasting so much time and money, but it all worked out !

This is filled with great insight into the modular nature of these batteries. When I watch it I’m thinking about the future modules that might be on the market and what I’d have to do to get them to fit and work in this shell.

Just a note on safety when using insulation meters. They output high voltage to perform the testing. Usually wise to wear high voltage rated gloves. At a minimum be very aware of any capacitors in the thing you are testing. I am more familiar with Fluke equipment, but there should be a voltage presence indicator. Be safe and have fun!

Congraulations Dala, as we say in the UK if a job's worth doing, it's worth doing well. You persevered and got there finally.
