One of my fondest memories of my friend before quarantine started was going over to her house and her trying all her hijabs on me to see which one suited me most. I miss her a lot

I'm Christian but my mom had a close friend at work who met me (this was a while ago i was 12 now 19) and I put on a hijab my friend thought me, he said I was prettier with it cuz hijabs bring out beauty 😊so I've learned Christian's are supposed to wear a head covering it's in the bible plus virgin mary did it cuz we are supposed to

Some pagans wear scarfs a stuff and they call it veiling, either as a form of protection or modesty and humility.

The really sad part is those thinking about wearing them have to consider if it’s worth their safety and looks and comments they will get because of the cruel world we live in. 😢

I think they are really pretty(hijabs, niqabs, scarves, some abayas too) and I thought it would be wrong for it to be worn like a fashion statement cuz it is so sacred. But the more I learn about Islam is that is so laid back and inclusive that they are happy to share what makes them beautiful (physically and otherwise) with all the people of the world. Your videos make your religion seem so welcoming. 💕

My father is non-muslim(converted) but everybody on my father’s side is Muslim. So trust me, more than once in my life, I have worn a hijab and sat down on a mat. Even looked at a Quran even though I did not understand anything. And I’ve held those beads that they use to pray. I’m Christian by the way.

Also my grandfather on my fathers side married 2 wives so I have 3 grandmothers and 2 grandfathers in total. My mom’s side is all Christian.

one of my favorite memories from middle school was having all the hijabis help me when i tried to wear one in solidarity with the muslim community (this was when the muslim ban was first proposed)

Omg! I asked this question because I’ve always wanted to try one on but someone told me it was “culture appropriation” so I put the money thought out of my head. Now I definitely want to try one on!
