Watch the crash test of the 2022-2023 Tesla Model S, which demonstrated good protection for the knees and femurs of both the driver and passenger in the frontal offset test. The Model S also performed well in the full-width rigid barrier test, side barrier test, and side pole impact test, with good protection for all critical body areas. The advanced eCall system alerts emergency services in the event of a crash and automatically applies the brakes to prevent secondary collisions.

The windscreen that does not break on such a strong side impact I have rarely seen that.

The B pillar of the car held remarkably well against the pole. One of the best I have seen.

As much as I dislike their build quality, their safety is on another world, and your family safety matters is a no brainer to go with Tesla

It falling 200 ft was good enough safety for me. All they need os a built in tarp to cover it of it catches fire.

The main reason seems to be the frunk. Every EV should have one.

Good cars but I’m not buying one until they fix the battery replacement cost. Hearing horror stories of people having to pay $25k when the batteries fail for their car to work again is absolutely absurd. Cars with 60-70k miles too. Garbage.

Why don’t they ever do rear end tests. It’s the most comoon type of accident.

Just seeing that headlight fly off completely shows Tesla's poor body quality design.

Edit: And not just that but other parts too.
