Damage near Tropicana Field from Hurricane Helene

Hurricane Helene remains a Category 4 storm as it is expected to bring damaging hurricane winds and storm surge Thursday evening to the Big Bend region of Florida.

As Hurricane Helene nears the northeast Gulf Coast, it's expected to bring "catastrophic" winds and storm surge to parts of the region, according to the National Hurricane Center.

I'm in S. St. Pete and the streets up to my curb are underwater. I live in a townhouse development several feet above the curb level but water is still moving into the street. And High tide is at 8:30 am this morning. Hopefully it will stop moving in and begin rolling back out before high tide hits in the morning. My development is still pretty high up. Elsewhere the area is swamped with 5 feet plus of water in some areas able the street level. Going to be a whole lot of flooded areas here in St. Pete.
