This tutorial is exactly what I was looking for. I spent a lot of time sifting through google images for some good references of gold stone(the raw ore form NOT processed and refined). Its surprising how both google and YouTube has little to no art or guides on such a thing.

I'm working on a design that incorporates silver and gold stones. I can paint them in their processed forms(jewelry, bars etc) but have no idea how to make them in their raw vein forms. Your video teaches rocks but I noticed how you made it look rocky but also metallic like metal.

I think the knowledge in this video will serve me well in my mission. Thank you so much!
