How to Connect Switch Pro Controller to PC / Laptop

In this video i will show you how to connect a Nintendo switch Pro controller to your PC / Laptop. There is 2 methods just follow my step to step guide in this video. Wired with USB C to micro USB and wireless with Bluetooth. We will be testing it on Steam and shenmue

So do you have to pair it each time you want to play? Do you have to unpair it after you're done playing or can you keep it paired and can get it connected again after you turn off the controller? If I turn off my controller by pressing the sync button, Steam won't detect it again even though windows' setting menu has recognized it as connected

Great video, one thing it doesn't mention is that to turn off the controller just tap the sync button again. It'll stay added as a device so you just have to hit any button to wake it up like normal and it'll automatically connect to your PC

FOR PC USERS HAVING TROUBLE:
Try plugging it into the USB ports at the back of your pc where the rest of your cables are.
My controller originally didn't connect to the USB ports at the front of my pc but worked when I plugged it into a USB port at the back of my pc.

Had to try various USB ports and 2 different cables to get the wired method working, but it does. Very nice

If you want to pair your Pro controller via Bluetooth, you have to hold down the tiny "Sync" button next to the controller's USB-C socket for 5 or so seconds for it to broadcast itself and show up on "Looking for devices" menus.

I watched at least three vids until I realized nobody mentions the sync button because they probably did it three years ago and forgot.
