Thanks so much for the constant support guys! This is the first time I've shot in 4K/rendered in 1080. Let me know if you prefer this quality?

Jack, can you uploading your backing tracks? I want to shred it so bad

Been playing for about 30 years and about three years ago finally understood how to use Modes. I have gotten into Progressive Metal like Periphery and am very interested in learning how to use Modes affectively in Progressive Metal. If I am jamming on a Satch type song then I have no issues.

I think I went insane from listening too much Jazz because I like all of the chords you played in this video haha :D

Can you talk about how to build a mode chord progression?

Wow Jack another great lesson. 11 minutes and I really feel like there is some forward motion in the level of my playing. I really like how you explained how the B minor pentatonic can work for this. Maybe you can go into that a little more in another lesson. I also like how you said you used an E minor triad in your intro but that's really just a C major. I do kind of understand how that works but maybe some people would get a lot out of a lesson on triads and how they relate. I know I could certainly use a bit more understanding of it. Thanks again and keep up the good work.

Thanks Jack. Very interesting as always. Can I suggest a little less distortion when demoing chords/intervals as they would be a bit easier to hear. I’d love lessons on legato playing please, especially keeping pull-offs even and in time when changing strings. Off to buy your album on Bandcamp. The excerpts sound superb. Thanks again.

For me it's a free lesson on saturday

The thing I struggle with Lydian with is that a Lydian progression so easily ends up sounding more like a progression from its parent scale. Seems to work better over vamps.

I am struggling with improving my picking hand technique. Could you do a video about picking hand technique?

The one dislike is John Williams getting territorial

Would this neck work for someone with small hands? I'm thinking of buying a strandberg but i can't go to a store and feel it
Any thoughts? Thanks
