This video outlines why I formulated my own wax blend as well as some pros and cons of the blend.
If you choose to try my blend, you must test it rigorously to ensure that it meets your business needs and safety standards. I will not be held responsible for any issues you may experience.

PLEASE NOTE: If you try this blend, it is highly recommended that you purchase the 3 wax components from the brands mentioned and allow your candles to cure for a full two weeks prior to test burning (beeswax hardens quite a lot overtime).

There are product links below to the exact supplies used

I've been testing my candles in preparation of opening my shop soon with a GW 464/white beeswax blend and am glad to see someone else who agrees that they can blend well after discovering that everywhere seems to say not to mix the two waxes.

I stopped pursuing this a few hours ago as I have a disagreement with my wife because we have a different direction in launching her candle business. SO I told her that the plan candle business was now closed before it had even started to take off... FORTUNATELY, I saw your blogs reviewing Stone Candle scents and this recipe.. So I messaged my wife and told her that we are getting back on track and shared your videos. Thank you so much Allen for all of your helpful tips, reviews, etc..

Definitely, your wax blend will be our blend. Thanks for sharing it.. am just wondering if I have to mix them at one time since they may have different melting temperatures and flash points.

I’ve been wanting to make a wax blend. I use coconut apricot right now and have noticed a lot of people blending that with some type of soy wax. Thank your for the information and inspiration! You’re videos are always to calming and informative ❤️

My story is exactly the same!! I almost gave up until I found 464, I add coconut oil it adds a natural scent too.

I recently have been working on my own wax melt / candle bussiness and have been trialing with everything. working with only essential oils it’s a lot of trial and error to make it actually smell good, I found the same I use beeswax and pure coconut wax about 40/60 and I am loving the color and how much more scent it holds vs when I only used beeswax!!

THANK YOU!!! I Make beeswax and coconut oil candles and the only wick that I found that works well, (with my mix and diameter of the jar. ) is a braided cotton wick with stainless steel rod! All my wooden wick testing failed! My hot throw was pretty good! But most of my customers just like the plain beeswax scent! Fast forward to today. ....Although I get my beeswax from a local apiary, it's getting more and more expensive. So I am researching... hence how I came upon your channel! So thank you! Thank you so much! ~jc
(PS, I also just got my concrete molds in!) It looks like I found the right channel 😊

Allen, I actually tried your blend in a candle since I had everything on hand - and you describe the pros and cons perfectly. I also usually don't like parasoys like 6006 ... too much sooty paraffin and the appearance isn't to my liking. I do like the look of 464, tho - a nice creamy consistency until you burn it of course and then its like the surface of the moon. It has an awesome melt pool too. My all-time favorite is Soy Bliss (no 7) and I make the majority of my candles using it. Wood wicks work great with Soy Bliss and there seems to be very little paraffin in it. Thanks for this video.

What an awesome video! So refreshing. I'm passionate about bees wax - so I was very interested in blends to make the most of what I love, creating a "perfect performance candle." It's really easy for me to connect with your thoughts and experience, and I look forward to catching more of your videos.

Hey Allen! Thank you so much dor sharing about your wax blend recipe! I started making candles about 6 months ago. I was looking all over for this exact sort of blend and your tips a out different waxes was so helpful to learn from. You mentioned a video where you explain the difference in your recipe when you put this recipe in tins. I need such a recipe. I couldn't find the video you mentioned. Can you help me find it? Is it enough to change the beeswax amount to 10% and increase the soy wax and the coconut both by 5%?
