The Final Cut is so impactful to me. Moves me to tears every time I get the courage to listen because I know I’m going to cry

You certainly have impacted my life and made me look at the world more profoundly. Your solo music and the music you did with Pink Floyd made me more comfortable with being introspective. I honestly don't know where I would be if I didn't have your music to help me keep myself sane and pain-free.

The Wall has saved my life on several occasions. I have had some very dark times, been in some very dark places, and on more than one occasion had the "blade to the wrist" and all I have to do is throw on The Wall, sit, vibe and by the time the second album comes around, I start to crawl out of that dark pit. I know I wouldn't have made it through had it not been for the kinship I felt from that album. Thank you Mr. Waters.

I've learned so much from Roger's music, about myself and others. And the world we share, or rather don't, and why it is so. There's so much detail, it lingers in my mind always.
I think Roger is the poet of this century. Every song is like a book, the message, the meaning, the details and hints and dead accurate observations. A Nostradamus of the obvious.

The Wall got me through my teens. Wish You Were Here has got me through my life. Dark Side Of The Moon got me through the Covid Lockdowns, it's pretty much all I listened to for three years. Thank you, Roger.

For me, the song with the biggest impact was When The Tigers Broke Free. I never knew my father. He was killed before I was born fighting in Vietnam. I’m that regard I’ve always related to Roger Waters who lost his father when he was 2 years old.

I sometimes wonder if artists like this are ever fully aware of how important their work has been to us.

Roger, you have written so much of my favorite music. So much enjoyment, so much catharsis... for decades you have been a very important part of my life.

Your music matters. It is high art that has positively impacted millions over several decades. I'll go out on a limb and say you are one the most important artists alive today.

Impact? You changed lives by the millions and forever altered the fabric of music itself.

I bought DSOTM when it first came out in 1973. I had just changed schools and ended up in a place where nobody liked me, so listening to the music, sleeve in hand, definitely provided balm for my wounded adolescent soul.

Pink Floyd The Wall has impacted my life in a major way. I was a teenager when it was first released. I remember the first time that I heard the entire album on cassette and thinking that this was far more than an average rock listening experience. I had never heard anything like it before. I pored over each word of the lyrics and realized the literary devices and themes in the album. It brought together my interests in WW II history, post-war history, psychology, and literary works by George Orwell and Aldous Huxley. It felt like Roger and I were kindred spirits in what moved us and motivated us in life. The Wall is the greatest rock album of all time and my favorite rock album of all time. Thank you, Roger for giving birth to this masterpiece! 👍👍👍👍👍

I can attest that your music gives me a sense of peace. There is a certain magic present when you place that album on the player and turn the lights down and just become part of it for a time. It has a calming effect on me and just opens my mind to pondering the beyond and life in general, to me that is so special and I am grateful you guys made all these albums/songs. Cheers
