Nice to see that Florida gets to explore intercity rail. It would be great to seek further opportunities in the future.

Highspeed services going at 125mph started 51 years ago in my country. Before the service started, all grade crossing had to be replaced with over- or underpasses. Some stations rquired rebuilding,

Cannot wait to see trains running every 30min, between Orlando and Miami, with 10 carriages each, completely sold out, and no congestion on the roads. And who’s the sound editor on this vid, the sound is louder in my right ear than left, in a really annoying way.

Being in the area, we're looking forward to it!

I cannot understand why there is such a big problem for some people to comprehend that rail crossings are dangerous and why we need special education for public . What the heck is really going on, if the signals show stop, simply stop and do not try to cross.

They need to visit Germany. Inter City Express trains there routinely travel at 200 MPH.

By what standard this speed is classified as “high” speed? This is regular passenger speed in non dedicated tracks in Europe. Even freight trains are run at 160 km/h in some European corridors to fit between passenger train slots

Love seeing the train community put the ignorant comments in their place. People don’t realize how valuable these upgrades are and are paving the way towards true high speed services in places other than the NEC. Keep it up Brightline!

130 mph is not a high-speed rail. High-speed rail can travel up to the speed of 155+ mph. This should be a huge disappointment for America.

It would be even better if the line was electrified. Electric high speed trains in Europe and Asia even exceed 300 km/h.

with trains at 125mph… just build underpasses and stop skimping on safety. This is ridiculous to have a road crossing where trains run at high speed.

Congratulations on the achievement,

It's funny to see how they call this train "high-speed" when it doesn't even reach 137 mph (international minimum speed to be considered a high speed train)

I would hate to ride these trains on railroad crossing that rate of speed. That’s look like a disaster.

That's good.
Now we only hope the people of Florida don't act foolish enough to cross the railway crossing while it speeding towards them.

Will there be an opportunity for people to ride for free like they had with Sunrail?

"Never drive around the gates". Isn't that a democrat idea and this means this train will be in a crossing accident sooner rather than later?
