Lyricagandas:

Early in the morning, before the sun could rise,
Keeping to myself almost felt like a disguise,
I couldn't be the one to tell you what was off that day,
Opening my mouth is The Most Dangerous Game

Once upon a time, I never knew fear like this,
I can't remember how it happened, or why it did,
Developing an obsession to open closed doors,
Gave me a compulsive need to find out even more,

And off we go to play telephone,
Sharing what we know
But how long can we keep playing
Until the game
Undermines the status quo

It's all
Propaganda! Prop-propaganda!
I have a feeling I'm not alone (Not Alone)
Propaganda! Prop-propaganda!
Don't believe anything you see, or hear
Propaganda! Prop-propaganda!
I can't be the only one who knows (The only...)
Propaganda! Prop-propaganda!
Propaganda! Prop-propaganda!

If we could go back, back then
When it was easier
They say ignorance is bliss

Why did I pick up the phone?
When it was easier
I should've stayed oblivious

Falling down the rabbit hole and running out of time,
Hoping noone notices my thoughts are out of line,
I know they know we know that something isn't right,
After this my life eclipsed: fear day and night,

A call to action, call for passion,
call for something more, for war
"If you're not with us, you're against us"
But I don't like the odds, the score
Call me complicit, Give me a minute,
Let me decide, it's my own life,
I'm not about to pretend
these people are close to being my friends

Can I do it? (I can run)
I could do it (I could run)
Should I do it? (I should run)
I should do it (I should run)

And so I ran,
As fast as I could,
Through the ocean of trees,
Through the sting of the breeze,

And so I ran,
I ran for my life,
And I ran for a dream,
For whatever that means,

Every thought is sabotage,
What a fool I am
To keep playing and playing
Game after game,
No-! Losing game after losing game

It's all
Propaganda! Prop-propaganda!
Propaganda! Prop-propaganda!

It's all
Propaganda! Prop-Propaganda!
I have a feeling I'm not alone (Not Alone)
It's Propaganda! Prop-propaganda!
Don't believe anything you see, or hear it's
Propaganda! Prop-propaganda!
I can't be the only one who knows
Propaganda! Prop-propaganda!
Propaganda! Prop-propaganda!

Propaganda! Prop-propaganda!
Propaganda! Prop-propaganda!
Propaganda! Prop-propaganda!
Propaganda! Prop-propaganda!

as someone with clinical psychosis, i live with paranoia every day of my life. i often feel like no one could listen or understand since i don't even know what i'm scared of myself. this song is a REALLY good depiction of what being paranoid just about 24/7 is like and it feels pretty refreshing in a way. i love this song!

I love how you reveal the secondary interpretations behind the lines:
"It's all propaganda, "
"I have a feeling I'm not alone, " and
"Don't believe anything you see, or hear"
when you put the authority figure behind Miku.

It's as though other individuals are telling her that the government as proposed here, is spewing misinformation in the first half of the song and the authorities are accusing the individuals of the same in the second half of the song.

Beautifully done Crusher-P.

You know one thing I just noticed that I really like? The other girls are all dressed the same as Miku, but their shirts are tucked in and her isn't. It's really small and subtle but it's cool

Ok, so this might be a bit off topic, but it reminds me of a story my aunt told me. When she was a student, Poland (where we are from) was under communist regime and the phones were often under surveillance. So one day, the police (well, equvalent of it, anyway) got informed that university students are talking between themselves on the phones and are making plans for something to happen at 9 p.m. There was suspicion that they are preparing a demonstration and officers were sent to the place that was mentioned in the phone calls. When they got there, one of the windows of the nearby building opened, and a polish song "Umówiłem się z nią na dziewiątą" (I planned to have a date with her at 9) played.
So, basically, I don't have much to say but have a story about how my aunt's friends pranked the communist authorities in Poland circa 40 years ago.

What I got from this song:

The girl lives in a world which has secrets covered up by some sort of organization. It could be government, military, cult, etc. She was called on the telephone, informed of all these terrible secrets by (presumably) an opposing organization. It could be one person or many. She looked into these things, trying to find out if they were true (hence the line "an obsession to open closed doors") and she noticed people were acting strange around her, suspicious and wrong. She realised that they were starting to figure out she was against them. The girls in a circle could be part of the organization, taunting her with their innocence. I was quite interested in the part where the 'leader' or military style dressed singer said that it's a "call to action" and "for something more" hinting that this could be part of some war being planned or a massive invasion. This could also mean that they called her to RECRUIT her, the girl is terrified and the recruitment team now knows that she is aware of them and needs to be silenced.

So, two theories.

1) She was a victim of a random conspiracy call. She was given this information by random. Maybe the caller was trying to throw their own scent off or something was happening and they needed to pass their cause/knowledge onto someone else.

2) She was called as part of a recruitment program from some sort of organization, planning to start and war. She was horrified and refused. They are now attempting to silence her and her paranoia is making her see everyone as suspicious and dangerous.

Who knows. I wonder if I'm close LOL.
