The entire FIFA franchise is literally like anti-football, absolutely nothing realistic about it but they keep trying to gaslight you into believing that. Players & the ball itself CAN PHASE THROUGH each other, fouls are non existent, there's no handball because in the code the ball is always fixed on a player & not a free flowing object so they cant add it, players don't score long shots every game IRL but they do in FIFA, teams barely score from corners IRL but you can score on every corner if the opposition players is bad enough in FIFA, players don't spin around in circles & dribble back & forth IRL, players cant magnetically tackle the ball or tackle from behind like that IRL, the ball doesn't bounce to the opposing team on every 2nd ball IRL, players don't fall over with stupid animations IRL and allow the other team to score. You get the point, the list can go on and on.

Ea is just getting the basics of a football game wrong man. Why is it that every new fifa there’s a “more effective way of scoring or playing “? It’s football ffs, sure it has evolved in the last decade but not the basics of the game. In fifa 19 it was long shots, broken crosses, first time finishing. I swear every new fifa we’re all thinking “ what’s the most effective way to attack, score and defend ?” . There shouldn’t be a META in a football game.

I wish they’d just stop releasing so many promos. FIFA 12 was the GOAT FIFA and FUT imo. I wish we could just go back to that…

My biggest problem is how greedy they’ve become. Back in Fifa 2014 Gold cards felt like Icons and were affordable now they rig the gameplay were you basically have to update your team every promo to keep up. Now they sell guaranteed Icons in the first month of the game for a quick buck

They make too much money from fifa points on crap promos now. Fifa 11, 12 and 13 were the best because of the simplicity of ultimate team

Honestly the main thing that killed ultimate team is DDA, shocked it wasn’t mentioned. It’s all tied into all these gameplay issues. If people weren’t giving up kickoff goals, 90 minute goals, or having their players run at 21 speed when they are up by 2 goals they wouldn’t park the bus and play all these boring tactics. All these “visual bugs” that have happened over the years of older cards stats being nerfed and the cpu difficulty changing from legendary to amateur in game aren’t visual, they are the hidden background mechanics at work. It’s what’s wrong with the gaming community. DDA and skill based matchmaking have killed online play due to corporate greed, they think these close games are more engaging and cause to consumer to spend more time and money in the game. It’s infuriating

Removing untradable packs and putting out less promos might improve the game slightly. We need a more casual game mode that isn't so sweaty.
