As a former EA employee, me and everyone I ever saw or talked to was let go Christmas of 2008 in the depths of the financial crisis while they paid all their execs 7 figures, then closed every office and let go of virtually every single employee including pandemic and the LA office. Us EALA people still talk and moved on but I’ll never forget that they paid the execs millions of dollars while laying off on every employee in LA.

I feel so bad for game developers man. Imagine you dedicate nearly a decade of your life to creating a single video game, only for a company to time crunch you and put all sorts of limitations and expectations upon you at their whims. No wonder the best of the developers keep dropping out of the industry. Sad, really sad.

What’s scary is that they bought out PopCap after two successful releases for $750 million. They also tried to take out Valve, but they shut EA down at every offer to buy their company.

I was going to sue EA but I had to spend $5.99 on the suing extension

EA disabled my account due to inactivity, when i contacted them they said I need to reset my password, I didn't know what the email was used and they said they couldn't tell me. Because the account was linked to my xbox profile, i can't play any of the ea games i bought on my microsoft account. So they basically scammed me.
