Pokemon Pocket is finally out and filled with hidden details, secrets, easter eggs and obscure Pokemon facts. and I'm here to go through the artwork from the Newest Pokemon Trading Card set, and newest game featuring the beloved TCG! In #8, I think the Gengar is in the Old Chateau. That would explain why it's so run-down, and why the flashlight resembles Arceus's symbol. You can actually encounter Gengar there via the GBA Dual Slot mechanic, in Gen 4.

In terms of cards with a theme, the Pidgey line tells a story about each one of them landing on the same branch together.

For 9, Theres also a Pokédex trainer card of the gen 3 dex. If you look through all the promo collection artwork the Oak supporter card is his gen 3 design.

I think it's interesting every Gym Leader is pictured inside their gen 3 gym in the normal artwork, except for Brock? He appears to be stood outside a tunnel. Mount Moon?

Butterfree artwork is another that could be alluding to the anime scene where Butterfree goes with it's mate.

Wanted to mention as well the collect 3 Electrode mission in the app seems to be a reference to you having to knock out / capture 3 Electrode in the Rocket Hideout in Gold / Silver. And also the full arts for Pidgeot and Pinsir seem to be references to their special animations you could capture on New Pokémon Snap.
