Is Skillshare still worth it for teachers? - My Teacher Earnings (Year 2)

One year ago I released a video where I talked about how much I earned as a teacher on Skillshare.
In the meantime, another year has passed, and I have received a few requests for an update.
In this video, I am sharing how high my Skillshare earnings were in my second year, from May 2021 to April 2022.
During my second year, did not add any new videos or put any effort in promotion, so it has been purely passive income.

Hello Maggi, thanks for the information. I want to ask it`s my first month as instructor on skillshare, & i have got USD 11.78 in start. But the payment status under payment history is Deferred & under details tab it`s says : Fees exceed amount to be paid.

What is the actual fee that skillshare charge (payment fee)

What I would do is read the fine print and see if you can publish tutorials there and on youtube at the same time. I'd also go on Patreon. You want subscribers and to get enough content such that people have hundreds of videos they can go through. The more places you can monetize the same content, the better. Not everyone is on patreon or on youtube. Plus, you want some videos that are member's only, to help bring members in. Perhaps 1 in 12 videos are public, but the other 11 or members only?

I'd do some research on what other channels on youtube are doing to make good passive income. I hope to make passive income too, after I finally got enough content together whereby I am ready to go public.
