About Catalyst
We’re an international creative production and performance learning community (formerly known as dBs Berlin), based at the extraordinary Funkhaus in Berlin. Our courses span electronic music production and performance, music production and sound engineering, film production, visual effects, and acting.
Our 3 schools: Music & Sound, Film & Visual Media and Acting, share our state-of-the-art facilities with 30+ production studios and suites, a film studio, multiple IT worksuites, and several tons of tech production toys. Our progressive educational model is based on practice-based learning, empowering students with real life experience and collaborations from day one.
We provide students with a safe space to dream big, grow their own greatness and build a life they love.
