This is why if you don't feel right (you know when your body doesn't feel normal) you tell the doctor you want a scan, not ask them, and if they wont go to another GP. A lot of times they'll (doctors) just go through the motions

Exactly same thing happened to me, spread to my spine and neck. I asked since Jan for a scan, only got one after coughing up blood in hospital in April.

I wish she had mentioned what kind of scan she got. I’m so glad someone finally helped her, but these doctors are not checking patients thoroughly anymore. I’m having the same problem. They won’t take any X-rays or scans. Just check my blood or treat me for asthma or pain meds for my back pain.

I've been having severe back pain in that same spot and my gp literally ignored me. After 9 months I was able to get a different gp to get me a xray and surprise. It's abnormal. I'm now waiting for my CT scan in a few weeks.

The drs in the uk, 2023, the first dr (family dr) sent me for xrays and all fine, I had punomia and it wasnt spotted until I got a CT scan with contrast, my husband passed due to lung cancer so I know the signs but no I'm just paranoid, then 3 weeks ago finally a dr at the hospital got me a CT scan with contrast and fluid on the lungs was diagnosed, I'm not to take any medication, just breath it out, which I've done the best I can and still wheezing and now coughing up blood, onto of all the different coloured phlegm. I'm getting frustrated now, and I had to ask for pain relief, well u would think I asked for the crown jewels and ofcourse I'm irate I'm in pain, 1 dr tried to say, I shouldn't be getting pain, because there are no pain receptors 🤷‍♀️🤔 so I said the pain van radiate, but I'm no dr, just the patient, I see this video was made a year ago, I hope this young lady is still ok, my husband passed away within 9 months and 9 days from diagnoses, after 30 years together and the dr is wondering why I was ( shouting at him, no I wasnt shouting because I cant for coughing and wheezing and the pain is becoming unbearable, Thank you for sharing your journey and I hope and pray u r still with your beautiful husband and family, sending healing prayers and strength to everyone. My late partner, died at 39. Misdiagnosed with "double sciatica" by our G.P. also saw a chiropractor for back pain and physiotherapist. Rushed to hospital after last chiro appointment, as was non responsive and staring blankly.
Finally diagnosed with lung cancer(not a smoker) liason on the lung from T.B. as a kid. Died 10 days later. Fortunately at that stage the brain was involved. Metastatic adeno carcinoma

I have a 8mm ground glass nodule. It didn’t show up as cancer on the pet scan thank goodness, and I will be having another scan I have never smoked. Put the price up to £30 a pack for 20 that will stop people smoking.
