2- Place Your Ladder Correctly
It is crucial to place your ladder correctly before using it.
-Always ensure that any ladder you use is stable and level and place it close to your job to prevent you from reaching too far.
-Always follow the 4-1 rule while using extension ladders, which states to place the ladder one foot away from the building's base for every four feet of height.
-Additionally, secure the ladder with a knot at the top and, if feasible, the bottom.
3- Utilize Ladders Cautiously
It seems obvious, yet occasionally individuals forget, disregard, or lack knowledge on how to use a ladder securely to prevent accidents or fatalities.

--Always keeping three points of contact with the ladder
--Never use a stepladder's top two rungs as a platform for your feet.
