Know a person who did this at a highschool party while drunk.

Legs went through the steps after failing half way up; His legs went through the step and he landed on his ass and the ladder caused leverage on his thighs.

Compound fractured both of his femurs.
Made a real loud popping/crack sound when he landed. Hard to describe, but it sounded almost “Heavy”. Sorta metallic because of the ladder. Almost like closing a car door really hard. Could easily distinguish the sound of the bones and the sound of the ladder though.

Didn’t scream at first. We were all in shock mostly. Then about 20-30 seconds later... Ear piercing shriek.

Same party earlier on in the night, i also heard a nose get broken for the first time as well. Still remember that too. Like a loud, soft crunch sound. Like snapping a small stick, sorta.

I’ve only been to 2 highschool parties (The ones with like 200 plus people i mean). This was my first one. Second one i actually got my nose broken that time around. (Didn’t notice the crunch myself this time around because i was busy getting punched in the face lol)
